Play as actual NBA team

I have a great idea! How would u guys like it if we picked our team and got those players. (Ex. Miami Heat= Wade/Jermaine/Beasley etc.) I think its a good idea. Wat do u guys say?

Ur right Gabe. Like for example if ur the lakers u will be way over the cap. But thats wat trading is for. How bout we try Season 39 or 40 like this.

This is a terrible idea.

So many bad qualities -

1.) Every team will be over the cap essentially.
2.) The crappy teams will not have enough talent to get the better guys off of the elite teams, and the GMs would have no chance at the playoffs from the beginning.
3.) That leads to inactivity and the site slowing down, which we never want.
4. - MOST IMPORTANTLY - It ruins the fun.
