Nest season if we use the same style of uneven rosters, we should relax the salary cap a little bit.
Eg.
From $1 - $5 there can be a $2 difference in salaries...
From $5 - $10 there can be $4 difference...
and so on, it would help with trading up because teams like myself and the heat have no inactives left due to trading up.
So all in all it would increase trading even more by letting teams keep some more fillers and not having to deal all of their $2 and $1 players away in one or 2 big deals.

I dont even understand why the rule is there to begin with... Very rarely do GM's purposely trade away all their assets for no reason, so why bother with this rule?

Because there is a rule in real life so we can see how good of a GM we can be by more or less doing what they do the same way they do it.
