Good move by Boston imo. Not as big of a trade as rival Cleveland getting Antawn Jamison but I feel Nate adds so much to Boston's bench. I love Eddie House for what he does, a great three-point shooter, but Nate brings so much to the table. Nate can handle the ball, athletic, pass, three-point shooter and rebound. Eddie, well, he can shoot three-pointers. Nate brings that plus those other attributes to the game. Watch for Boston as I think the Celtics will be a tough team to beat. T-Mac to New York, Martin to Houston, Landry/Hughes to Sacramento. Well, New York is set up nicely for the big 2010 free agency. New York shed $9 Million dollars by doing that trade and to me, have got a much better team today than yesterday. Houston could be good for Kevin Martin, playing on a solid team that is actually above the .500 mark, and next season playing with guys such as Yao, Brooks, Ariza, Scola. I love this team next season. Sacramento, I am clueless on. They already had a pretty full frontcourt and adding Landry didn't help the minutes for guys such as Thompson, Hawes and Brockman. Looks like they could be looking at someone in free agency as well with Larry's expiring. Like the deal somewhat for Sacramento though, Landry is quite good. Big trade for Cleveland. Jamison fits nice next to LeBron and Shaq. Clearly showing that Washington wants to rebuild. I'm stil not sold on Cleveland winning the title this season, but this trade helps there team no doubt. Washington did get Al Thornton though, who still has good potential. I'd watch out for him. Clippers i guess felt Outlaw is better than Thornton so they dealt him for a expiring, just trying to free some cap space. Other Notable Trades in the Last Week: Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood, DeShawn Stevenson to Dallas for Josh Howard, Drew Gooden, James Singleton, Quinton Ross. Just Dallas stocking up for a playoff run. Marcus Camby to Portland for Travis Outlaw and Steve Blake. Portland needed a C, and they got a pretty good guy. Portland is a tough matchup now in the West. Clippers had a loaded frontcourt, so I guess they didnt lose much besides a expiring contract with a team going no where.

Sorry Pierce, but I think the Cavs will just be too much to handle now.
They were great without Jamison and now with him... Nate was a good pick-up but doesn't impact the team nearly as much as Jamison.
Still I think the Lakers will still be the team to beat overall while I'm not sold on Dallas at all.

Knicks traded Darko Milicic for Brian Cardinal. I was focusing on the main trades that happened leading up to the trade deadline. All that was, was two players who don't play being traded for one another. I heard Brian Cardinal is gonna be bought out but I'm not 100% sure on if it will happen or not.

I think you painted a little too much of a rosy picture ther for Nate. If he could really pass, dribble and shoot he would have been the starting PG all year. Duhon sucks. Fact is Nate is Nate. Little guy, ton of talent and no basketball brain. House is a better shooter than Nate so not really sure what you think you are getting there. As with Marbury I think the Celts will see they have a little bit of a loose cannon on their hands and he will serve a diminshed role eventually.

There's a reason New York isn't in an uproar right now. Simply because, sure we love the little guy for entertaining, but that's all. Entertainment.

Boston is not the best team in the East. Cleveland is.
They had a killer record without Jamison, and with him, they get like 1000x better. So therefore they're even better than the Celts still

I like this trade for Tyrus, he should hopefully expand from his energy bench guy and hopefully reach the potential many of us hoped he would reach when we drafted him in fantasy this season... and soon dropped him after his broken arm..
Salmons should help the bucks seeming as Redd is down again, maybe they can make that push for a playoff spot, would be interesting to see if they can make it but wouldnt put money on seeing them past the first round.

Heat will be lucky to get out of the 1st round. Boston before the All-Star break was just tired plain and simple, now on this West Coast trip they have beaten the Lakers and Portland on the road in back to back nights, beating Portland by 20 none the less. And that was with a weaker bench as Eddie isnt there and Nate hasn't shown up yet, and Cleveland loses to Charlotte. Since the All-Star break Boston is 3-0 and Cleveland is 0-2. The time off was just what Boston needed.
Ray Allen had been slumping, due to the thought of being traded imo, and since the deadline has past he has been lights out. Boston is on a role, lets see how Boston fairs with Cleveland this thursday.
Btw, did anyone see Jamison in his debut? 0-12 shooting and 2 points? Yes its one game, but dont expect his 20/8 numbers on a nightly basis.
