Wizards trade: #5, Pecherov, Thomas, Songaila T'Wolves trade: Foye, Miller
Glut of Wizard guards now. Nick Young, Foye, Arenas, Miller, Stevenson, etc.
They need to clean up that mess immediately - send a guard out for a big man down low who is tough on the inside to complement Jamison. The #5 pick hasd so much potential that the Wizards could potentially have f'ed up big time.
Discussion?

whose gonna be picked as a C before Thabeet? Rubio has the best chance to be at pick 5 but the Kings like him. obviously Thabeet is well liked by Memphis because they flew out to LA to just talk to him for a couple hours after he didn't go to the work out due to injury.

We had 7 big man and traded our worst 3. We have jamison, Blatche, haywood, McGee. Our younger big man will now get constent PT. I don't like losing the pick but We get a Talented combo gaurd that can take some pressure off of Gil and a excellent 3 point shooter in miller

Kings like Rubio, Rubio does not like Kings. Yeah, that's why Rubio has only worked out for the Kings and has said multiple times that he wants to go there.

Do the Wolves really need 4 1st rounders? Their team is already unbelievably young. Losing a solid vet in Mike Miller and a proven (somewhat at least) scoring guard in Foye doesn't make sense to acquire even more picks in a BAD draft. They're going to be looking for 2 guards now at 5 and 6. I'm thinking more towards the fact that they're not done moving yet and they want to move higher up in the top 4 so that they are guaranteed Ricky Rubio. That is the only end that makes sense for this trade to have been made. Rubio/Harden would be a great consolation for the Wolves.
As for Washington, they could have used an athletic big like Jordan Hill, but #5 might have been a bit early for him anyways. Can't knock the talent they just acquired.
